He has also reviewed and approved electrical design construction drawings, customer’s structural facility drawings, electrical room layouts and switchgear drawings by using industry specifications to validate electrical engineering concepts. He focuses his emphasis on standards, code conformance, constructability, and safety when managing projects. He has developed cost estimates for multimillion-dollar projects and monitored operating budgets of several multi-year projects in various functional areas.    Kenneth was previously a Manager at an Engineering Design firm where he supervised and managed a team of engineers, designers, permit coordinators and support staff to provide the highest level of customer service while meeting safety, reliability, and productivity goals. Kenneth designed, managed , and budgeted the following projects in Washington DC: The DC Wharf, The DC United Soccer Stadium, DC Streetcar Project, Pepco’s Waterfront Substation distribution lines and the first community solar project to go live in the area. He was also responsible for overseeing residential and commercial services designs, complex network design projects, traffic signals, streetlights, and bus shelter designs. Prior to being the Manager at the Engineering Design firm he was employed at Pepco and he was identified as the subject matter expert of the New Business Engineering and Distribution Design Department using his critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities to complete complicated projects.
