Prime Partners Engineering, LLC is a full-service project management, design engineering and dry utility consulting firm. The company has expertise in all aspects of electrical distribution design including residential and commercial projects, utility system improvements, solar, and complex network design. The firm’s founding members have over thirty years combined experience working in project management and design oversight to effectively manage capital projects from initiation to close. Open Position: Project Manager
· Coordinate and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closeout.
· Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
· Allocate internal and external resources as needed to maintain project progress.
· Track and report project progress, including schedule updates and budget status.
· Facilitate project team meetings, record meeting minutes, and communicate actions to stakeholders.
· Maintain documentation including service applications, field data, feasibility studies, engineering designs, invoices, and close-out materials.
· Identify project risks and recommend mitigation plans.
· Serve as primary point of contact for clients and internal teams on assigned projects.
· Prepare documents such as engineering scope of work, schedules, permit tracking logs, and construction reports.
· Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets company and client standards.
Multiple positions located at Prime Partners Engineering, 1100 13th Street NW, Suite 1000, Washington, DC 20005. Salary no less than $150,426/year.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or other related field. 60 months of experience as a Project Management Specialist, Electronics Engineer, or related field. 24 months of employment experience managing engineering or utility related projects. 24 months of employment experience with utility company processes or comparable engineering project experience. 60 months of employment experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. 24 months of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Valid U.S. driver’s license. Ability and willingness to perform occasional field visits that may require walking, standing, bending, or lifting. Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25%. Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
